Dear Parents,

You are cordially invited to our Annual Swimming Meet, which will be held at theBukit Jalil Aquatic Center on Friday, 14thFebruary.

Please note that transportation to and from the venue willnotbe provided by the school. Parents are responsible for ensuring their child arrives at the aquatic center on time and is picked up according to the schedule below.

We will be providing sufficient food for all participating students as well as their classmates who come to cheer for them. However, we recommend that students bring their own water bottles and some light snacks if they wish.

Please be aware that this swimming meet is for students in Years 3 and above.A separate swimming competition will be organized at the school for Year 1 and 2 students at a later date.

We look forward to seeing you at the Bukit Jalil Aquatic Center on 14th February!

Dear Parents and guardians,

I am writing to you today to inform you that we have officially been informed by Prolintas (the concessionaire of the SILK Highway), that they will very soon be starting realignment works at our campus main entrance/exit – as well as parts of the highway leading up to and away from it.

They expect to commence in May 2024 and be completed by the end of June 2024. While there will be some inconvenience to the school community during construction, Prolintas/SILK has assured that SILK and its contractors shall provide prior notice of any planned work that would interrupt our daily operations as per Vlogٷ’s academic calendar.

They have also informed that, at present, they do not anticipate any material interruption to school operations to occur. However, please be extra cautious when entering and exiting the school zone during this period. Pay close attention to all traffic signage and instructions from workers.

Dear Parents, Students and guardians.

15th Annual Sports Meet

TANARATA is having its 15th Annual Sports meet on Sunday, 3rd March 2024. Monday, 4th March will be given as a holiday in lieu.

This is an eagerly awaited event that has all school students participating and competing together in the true spirit of sportsmanship. We had changed the date as the venue we preferred wasn’t available. Please accept our apologies for this.

We will treat this as a normal school day and attendance is compulsory for all the students.

Students are to ensure the following;

Dress Code : Latest Sports House T shirt/ School Pants or Culottes/ Black Shoes and socks

(For students during March past) This was designed for 2023 Sports Day.Track pant/p.e shorts to be worn for races.

Time : 7:30 am to 1:00pm

Venue : Cheras Stadium, Kuala Lumpur (Stadium Bola Sepak Kuala Lumpur)Jalan Yaacob Latif, Bandar Tun Razak, 56000 Kuala Lumpur

With the help of the TCC, we have ordered personal Pizzas for all students on Sports Day. As this might be delayed being a bulk order, we advise you to ensure that students bring some light snacks such as tiger biscuits and drinks to keep their energy levels up. The TCC is also requesting sponsorship for water bottles. Please see the enclosed newsletter from the chairperson.

A detailed itemised invitation will be sent out later this week. We would like to see maximum participation from all our students and parents.
